The History of IH Milano

International House Milano was founded as Centro Lingue Tradint in 1982 by Sieglinde Wolcan and Claudio Tedesco. It has been an Affiliate Member of the International House World Organisation (IHWO) since 1997.

It is also affiliated to AiSLi (Italian Association of Language Schools) and to Federcentri (Federazione Nazionale Centri di Traduzione e Interpretariato). Both AiSLi and the International House World Organisation are associate members of EAQUALS (European Association for Quality Language Services).

The school in San Donato Milanese was opened in 1983 and in 2000 they moved to the more modern and bigger premises of via Alfonsine 40.

In 1997 we affiliated to the IHWO and opened our second school in an elegant building in Milan city centre, only 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral (Duomo).

International House Milano has vast experience in language teaching, company training, teacher training, translating and interpreting, and we cater for both companies and private individuals.
