Special Italian Programmes / Enjoy 50+

The Enjoy 50+ programme has been specifically created to cater for mature students aged 50+, interested in learning Italian while enjoying art, culture and our beautiful cuisine.

Lessons are very interactive. They focus on the most practical uses of Italian language, from facing every day stituations such as going shopping and booking a hotel room to using History of Art, Opera and Italian culture as springboards for discussion.

Course features:

Course length: 2 week
Class size: min 4 - max 8/10 students
Level: all levels from beginner

The programme:

  • 20 lessons per week of Italian Standard group-course
  • welcome tour on first day
  • visits of Milan’s main cultural attractions that can include the Duomo Cathedral, Castello Sforzesco, La Scala Opera House, the Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci and Brera Art Gallery.
  • tea-break or "aperitivo" during some afternoon visits
  • pizza night!
  • farewell dinner in a typical Italian restaurant
  • cooking class and wine tasting! (when available)
  • Saturday excursion to Lake Como or beautiful surrounding cities such as Monza, Bergamo and Cremona

During the cultural and leisure programme students are always accompanied by one of our experienced Italian teachers, so that any moment becomes an opportunity to practice Italian!

Programme fees include:

  • Lessons and cultural activities
  • Entrance tickets to museums
  • tea breaks and dinners
  • cooking class and wine tasting (when available)
  • train tickets for Saturday excursion

Accommodation can be arranged by the school in host families, shared apartments, hotels and B&B.

Programme dates: 10-21 May and 6-17 September

Fees 2010: € 795,00 (accommodation not included)

Registration Fee

All students should pay our € 70.00 registration fee, which includes:

  • First course book
  • Welcome pack on arrival
  • Placement test
  • End of course certificate
  • Free Internet access
  • Free wi-fi
  • Use of self-study centre, Italian online course and library
  • Organization of social activities
  • Student card for discounts in selected shops and restaurants

The Registration Fee and the use of all school facilities are valid for 12 months, even if your course is finished but you are still living in Milan or wish to come back!
