Our company has more than 20 years’ experience in the authenticated, certified and legalized translations sector working with English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and many other language combinations.
Our company uses only professional mother tongue translators with at least five years' experience in the sector.
An authenticated translation, also called sworn or certified translation, is made official by the attestation the translator gives at the court and this means that the translated document maintains the same legal value as the original one. The final document contains the original document, the translation and the attestation report.
Authenticated translations are subject to duty stamp. In particular, a duty stamp (€ 14.62) has to be affixed every 100 rows of translated document, including the attestation report.
Legalization is the step that follows authentication and is necessary when the translated documents have to be submitted to authorities in foreign countries. For documents to be submitted in countries that have signed the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961, legalization is substituted by the apostille; i.e. a stamp attesting the authenticity of the document and the legal validity of the issuing authority.
Besides Authenticated translations, we also do translations in many other sectors:
- Technical translations
(manuals, technical specifications, product datasheets, documents for tenders, etc.)
- Commercial translations
(business letters, catalogues, orders, etc.)
- Legal translations
(contracts, company by-laws, reports, minutes of meetings, etc.)
- Financial translations
(financial statements, interim reports, schedules)
- Medical translations
